2022 was a year of highs and lows. I lost a Landscaper who was such a great asset to the company that helped on an array of crucial projects to make 2021/22 the success that it was. It has been tough doing things by myself for a vast part of the year but we still went on to achieve great things such as the Ghyll Lodge (Guiseley) Design & Build and the invitation to collaborate with Durapost on our Bespoke Anthracite Fencing System in Shelley (Huddersfield). In 2022 there was a rise in demand for Pergola's, and we were fortunate to carry out the build around 7 bespoke Pergola's throughout the year. It has been a great experience and learning curve to adapt each individual Pergola into each and every project and I very much look forward to building many more in years to come, along with other timber structures which we have also constructed this year for the very first time including a Carport & Treehouse in Esholt and a Garden Room in Baildon.
Booking are now filling up nicely to add to the list of 2023 project we already had in store. We have another fully bespoke Durapost fencing system coming up in my home village of Kirkheaton (Huddersfield) in March, the final phase of the Ghyll Lodge Design & Build to complete as our first project of the year in January to name only but a few. I look forward to sharing all of 81Designers progress throughout the year.
